WPITW 2020 #2 - Week 4

2nd update for the year for week 4 of the year. As suspect i painted less than previously. Work is starting to pick up again so while i am still on holiday for another week, i have had a few meetings and things to sort for the office.

While i only finished a couple of models, i have a few more part painted and ready to go. i am finding that if i get at all bored or a bit tired of doing detail i just base coat a few models, which means i get to paint at least, and i have stuff more prepped for when i am ready to do detail work.

A reminder of the rules:

WIPTW - Rules

  1. Keep track of what i have painted

  2. Can only buy half of what i have painted

I have no target for painting, more just rules on buying, and not ending up with too much stuff.

So what have i painted since the last update:

Purchased and delivered:

I backed the following kickstarter - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/breakerpressgames/children-of-ferrumsky-child-miniatures-for-broken-contract?ref=thanks-copy So thats 5 models for the year.

I also completed the pledge manager for a couple of Kickstarters.

My Zona Alfa rules and free models arrived, so i need to read them. Still waiting on my Human Interface, Klukva and Hasslefree order from late last year.

Stats YTD:

Am doing well, getting stuff finished and not buying much. The word document is going well and is helping me record models that would be nice, but i dont need (or have time to paint). But its good becuase if our games go a certain way i know i have models i can get.

Fattie 2:

Fun to paint, never had to work out how to paint food before, so that was fun. I enjoyed doing the darker skin tone, the Foundry paints are awesome.

Fattie 3:

I got to use the newish Wordbearers red colours and i think they came out well for his shirt. and did some dirty white shoes. All up a nice model.

Fattie Group:

Here is the whole crew. they work well together.
