Beta Decima Terrain
/As part of playing Kill Team, i have been buying all the expansions, and this means a backlog of terrain.
I thought this would be a simple set to paint, but i made it complicated.
I had aimed to get this terrain finished before Volkus was released and i got most of it done, but then i painted myself into a corner with all the details i wanted to paint.
I got there in the end, but the glow effect took longer than it should have, but i enjoyed putting in the masking to get the different colours and the stencils.
I used my Cricut to make some stencils, which came out well.
1st Gallery is some of the masking efforts and the 2nd is all the finished stuff.
i sprayed it all (other than the yellow void generators) Mechanicus grey, and then washed the hell of it and drybrushed it, i then masked all the bits i wanted to stay grey, sprayed it red, drybrushed and washed the red, and then for the metal used my new favourite tool, an AK gun metal paint pen.
