Throwback - Mongoose Judge Dredd Models
/Continuing the inventory of all my painted models.
This is the collection of Judge Dredd Models from the Mongoose game range. I painted most of these 3-4 years ago, so the paint job can be a bit off.
The Mongoose models were a bit hit and miss with some of the sculpts being a bit meh, but they were what we could get so it was good enough.
Kleggs:
I loved my Klegg gang. they are rediculous, but brutal in the game, carrying heavy machine guns in one hand and massive hand weapons. Even the hounds are brutal.
I painted them in a cartoony way to match the story from Judge Cal (the Day the law died) - there were trying to imitate judges so i used Judge colours.
Robot Judges:
Another awesome gang - it turned out i enjoyed playing small model gangs where the individuals were really good. Robot judges had awesome armour, powerful guns and lots of wounds. I also liked the variety of the tek judges and combat robots.
I painted them as i would end up painting the other judges from Warlord Games this year (though i could not remember the exact green so its close enough).
The other tek model was painted recently, but is part of this gang. the Med judge is not but i dont want to edit the photo again.
The other Dredd models i painted:
De Marco - plain clothes and Judge. I painted these recently with the new Dredd stuff but i bought her specifically for the previous game and never got to use her.
Fattie - i wish i had gotten the other Mongoose Fatties. they are great models, and would mix in well with the new ones (though are much bigger).
