Adepticon 2025

Adepticon 2025

As mentioned in the last post, I decided to go to Adepticon this year with a friend.

We had our flights sorted and planned to fly over on the monday and were meant to be in Milwaukee midnight on the monday (US time), with a brief layover in Houston.

that would give us the full Tuesday to get acclimatised, sort out the time zones and look around the area. And then fly back on the Monday following, with another brief layout in Houston, getting back home Wednesday NZ time.

My group at Warlords has started our new Stargrave campaign. This is our third campaign in Stargrave. the first one was a free for all with people taking whatever models they wanted (we had a mix of star wars and cyberpunk models), the 2nd one we themed it to 40K and had 2 inquisition warbands, an ork warband and a votann one.

Kill team Campaign 2024

This year my club (Wellington Warlords) is going to run a Kill Team Campaign, and so we have resurrected our old campaign that we ran from 3rd edition until it petered out in 5th or so.

It was not a campaign in the sense that we had maps etc, although occasionally we did map campaigns. But more that we used stories to link the battles. The armies in our area knew each other and the characters became larger than life, with feuds and backstory over many many games.
